Spring brings a breath of fresh air—blooming flowers, warm sunlight, and the beauty of new beginnings. To celebrate the season, I launched Spring Studio Mini Sessions, short and sweet photo experiences designed to capture family connection, parent-child love, and the fleeting magic of springtime.

Set against a vibrant, floral studio backdrop, these sessions were overflowing with giggles, cuddles, and genuine emotion. From my own kiddos to new parents and returning families, each session reminded me why I’m passionate about family photography.

Indoor Spring Photography Setup: Garden-Inspired Studio Magic

To create an immersive spring atmosphere, I transformed my indoor studio into a dreamy floral oasis. The design featured:

• Blush pink, ivory, and soft green faux florals
• Natural light for that signature soft, airy glow
• Cozy textures like lace, woven baskets, and neutral seating

This setup provided a timeless backdrop ideal for newborn photography, mommy-and-me portraits, and even toddler sessions. Whether you’re a first-time mom or a returning family, the environment was perfect for creating lasting memories.

1. Mommy-and-Me Mini Session: My Own Little Models

As a photographer—and a mom—getting in front of the camera with my kids was equal parts chaotic and heartwarming. Using my tripod and remote shutter, I captured:

• Sibling connection and tender mommy moments
• Real-life giggles, movement, and even snack-bribes
• Authentic, unfiltered love

These candid images may not be “perfect,” but they’re perfectly us—a reminder to moms: get in the frame.Even though it wasn’t perfect, having these memories of us together, just as we are, means everything.

Next up was a long-time client—a mom and her sweet daughter who’ve been coming to me since she was a toddler. Now, she’s growing into such a bright little personality, and seeing their connection deepen over the years has been incredible.

We captured:

• Gentle, quiet moments that showed just how much they adore each other.
